-It really makes sense to use as a cottage rental when neighboring properties are charging $1200/week for cottage vacation rentals.

-can get local property management companies who are already successfully managing neighbor cottage rental to do tidy and maintenance for a great price.
This is Because:
living far out is a huge resource drain for one person with kids and the house is too small for me to share with a roommate.... (I'd love to buy Bob's cottage, it's on the 5-10 year plan. )
-unreliable cell service doesn't work for someone with family responsibilities.
-car sickness and nausea from the winding bumpy road, also huge time drain - opportunity cost to constantly run to town for everything.
-also that thing where I'm a pedestrian now. Guess I got what I asked for when I wrote BoatCar Hitchhikes into the scavenger hunt. 😐
-positive to use public and alternate transit and to have relinquished the responsibility of vehicle maintenance, constant cleaning of another space, and the bleeding constant wound from my wallet.
